Hard To Kill was one of the few movies I have bought without having previously seen. I figured it was an early Steven Seagal film, so it should be good. And if not, oh well, I'm out $5.
For some reason I though he did pay a few times, and the amounts were closer to 500,000. I may just not be recalling correctly.
It seemed like Segal was doing exceptionally well with his films at the box office until the movie in where he challenged oil companies practices. There were always healthy showing to support his films, and then boom, a lot of projects went straight to home video.
Segal was a favorite in action movies because he really is a master of martial arts, which conveyed over to film for a better product.

Segal did judo right? It was ill how he brought that style to the big screen. He's the first martial aritst I can recall whooping everyone's ass on screen and barely throwing any kicks.
just watched the video above his style was aikido not judo.
