I swear some of you people can't read. The man wrote "What Hood, Street, Turf, Block, Set" not what State or which city.

Anyways, IMO it's Queensbridge by a long shot.

Nas
Marley Marl
MC Shan
Roxanne Shanté
The Bravehearts
Mobb Deep
Cormega
Nature
Big Noyd
Tragedy Khadafi
Lakey The Kid
Capone of Capone and Noreaga
Littles
Nashawn
Blitz
Infamous Mobb

and there are some I'm sure I'm forgeting.

Some of those are big names now, some are old school artists and some are on the rise...and they all come from one housing projects (even though they are the size of a small city lol.)
Gardens and Queensbridge gotta be a tie for me. itz a tough decision. But i can't be one-sided cause im from Sac. But i agree Queensbridge got this. Plus they have been way more successful money wise. and more consistant.

My 3rd place for sets would prolly be the 5th ward. I was raised on Houston rap.

thats a tough call

my top pick would be Queens but my soft spot from the bay would have to give honorable nods to Fillmore, East Oakland, The Crest and Hunters Point. EPA was crackin real hard in the 90s too

i used to love the shit coming out of the 3rd Ward of New Orleans back in the 90s too, havnt heard much latley though
