Trail Blazers guard Brandon Roy was named the Western Conference Player of the Week for games played from Nov. 24 through Nov. 30.
It is the third time Roy has won the award, and he becomes only the second Blazers player to ever win the award more than twice. Clyde Drexler won the award 10 times.
Roy led the Blazers to a 4-0 record while posting averages of 20.0 points, 6.0 assists and 5.3 rebounds against Sacramento, Miami, New Orleans and Detroit. He was selected over Kobe Bryant (Lakers), Yao Ming (Houston), Chris Paul (New Orleans) and Jason Terry (Dallas).
Paul, the Hornets guard who leads the NBA in assists and steals, was named the Western Conference Player of the Month.
New Jersey guard Devin Harris was named Eastern Conference Player of the Week.
