I know alot of you keep questioning what happened to the money that was donated for the memorial bench we were going to put up. My bad for not getting back to you guys, but FYI - I was not the one that was actually getting the bench. It was Megan's idea and since she isn't computer savy, I set up the pay pal account and posted the thread to inform you guys. I should have clarified that from the gates.
In any case... only 7 people donated money... I'm not sure how many people you guys think that did... but I can tell you that a whole lot of people are following up and asking where the bench is that didn't donate crap. Here is the PayPal translog just to show you....

I talked to Megan about this recently and she said the money is still in the WF bank account, and anyone that requests a refund will be given their money back. A total of $230 was donated, and then PayPal takes out a percentage... so I'd say about $200 all together. This doesn't even cover barely 10% of what the bench cost, according to Megan (I'm not sure what bench she had picked out).
Otherwise, the money will just be given to Wood's mom Jody, which will be handled by Megan.
I understand the people that have donated, frustration and I apologize for not getting back at you guys sooner but I was just the middle man for this. Alot of stuff we have planned together as folks for Wood's memory has fallen thru, out of different reasons, out of respect for his Mom, etc... and many are still grieving for Ryan and having trouble accepting his death.
Thanks for the people that had my back, like S1, and others... who know that I've been friends with Ryan for YEARS and would never do anything shady to try to come up from his death.
And thank you to the people who did donate money.

The bench was not going to be a dedicated bench in the city of Antioch, it was going to be at a cemetary, where no one can dictate what you can and can't do.
