Millwaukee smells like stale beer.

Funny story about when we were in Millwaukee for the Hostile Takeover Tour.

We were outside The Rave re-stocking the merch and it was hot and windy. The wind was blowing the right direction so that we could smell the stench of stale beer emminating from the Miller plant. I've been to Millwaukee twice and that smell is the one thing i remember the most.

Did I say it was a "funny" story? I ment boring and not at all funny.

Anyway, the basement of the Rave is really creapy and it's supposed to be haunted. It was once a boys home or a YMCA type place in the early 1900's. And there is a pool in the basement, apparently a custodian fell in the pool and drowned or killed himself.

Played in some smaller buy in tourneys,qualifiers (satellites) and cash games. Came out about $6000 ahead.

I wonder why Kansas City doesn't have more professional events, considering we have a Harrah's and they own basiclly every professional tournament contract. At least for the WSOP.

Harry won that seat last year and they wouldnt even allow him to sell it. I have a hard time with online poker for some reason, I am about 70 percent cash so far this year in tournaments though.

Yo that smell isnt stale beer smell, thats the smell of the yeast they use to to ferment the hops and make the beer. The whole city dont smell like it either, but the rave is pretty close to the miller plants.

on another note, im pissed that now that im out of the country tech comes to my hometown, shit i drove like 7 hours to cleveland this fall to see tech in some shitty venue. The eagles ballroom is pretty exclusive i wish i could be there to see it.
