I think rap as a whole,is all starting to sound the same.I'll take a Roblo beat anyday.To answer your question though,I don't think there is a distinct NW sound,and outside of Bosko and DSane and a few others,I think the Northwest has garbage production.

I agree with that. I'd add Syko to the list.

For me, the NW sound is what I heard first from the NW, which was FTS/SLR...So the mobbed out D-Sane beats is what I think of when I think of the best NW sound...A lot of producers sound the same, but there's a couple with a destinct sound: D-Sane, Red Head Steve, Syko, Bosko, and Pain.

Issac Meek of Undercaste has beats for daaaaays.......and Apoulo has some of the most amazing beats I ever heard in my life....every beat this dude makes is dope......

You gotta have some kind of resume' to be truly considered amongst the best. I'm not saying you don't, but you did just kind of put yourself in the company of some the NW best. Throw a link up so we can peep your material.

Why didn't anybody mention Funk Daddy or Beezie 2000? There are so many that can be considered making that NW sound. Bosko should be considered also.

Im not putting myself in with the best jimmy. This shit is called northwest sound and im from the northwest. All im saying is I have good quality beats. Nobody has told me diffrent but your right I do need a resume. But I am trying to build one so if anybody is trying to cop some beats holla at yah boy Localstar. its gonna take time to develop a sound synonamous with the NW. but it sure as fuck aint gonna be SEATTLE JUMP ON IT!. or BABY GOT BACK!

if anyone peeped out that Phonk Phenomenon they know what beats i dig. that horror movie soundtrack shit.. i lost my hostin site, but ill put up some tracks soon, and show everybody how were doin it in Tacoma.
