HARDO Feat. Wiz Khalifa & Jimi Wopo – “Today’s A Good Day”

Hardo isn’t supposed be standing in the upright position he holds today. He’s lived and survived enough gangster non-fiction to make a cinematic trilogy. Yet, the 25-year-old is on the brink of becoming the next Black & Yellow representative to shake up hip-hop.
After being released from prison in October 2012, Hardo began his transition from the crime life to the rhyme life. In January of 2013, he dropped his first underground hit, “Stressin,” (over 1M views on YouTube) a hauntingly addictive track that highlights both the author’s commanding voice and the terrible that comes with earning five star street cred. By mid 2013, Hardo’s name rang as loud in rap’s underground as it did in the underworld. ATL legend T.I. even shouted him out on his Young Thug-assisted hit “Ain’t About The Money.”

A steady grind, funded by well-invested savings, inspired record companies like Interscope Records to offer record deals. He eventually teamed up with Sony’s RED MUSIC/Brooklyn Knights Entertainment.

At the end of 2016, Hardo dropped his official first single “Today’s A Good Day,” a vibrant radio smash, featuring Wiz Khalifa and Pittsburgh newcomer Jimmy Wopo. After watching his song soar to over 6 million streams on Spotify and 2 million on Apple Music, the young G is set to gift summer ’17 his Los Angeles and Pittsburgh-filmed video. With two recorded albums, featuring rappers like Meek Mill, 21 Savage and Dave East, and accompanying visuals completed, Hardo is ready to give rap fans two truths 1) An illegal lifestyle offers more loss than floss, and 2) His hometown raises a different breed of hustler.
