Earlier in the year, Hip-hop suffered the loss of burgeoning Atlanta star Bankroll Fresh when he fell victim to gun violence. The tragedy reverberated throughout hip hop and music as a whole, with many of the genre’s biggest stars and publications reflecting on the many accomplishments and vast potential of the young talent.
