Paris “The Black Panther of Hip-Hop” on paving the way for groups like Public Enemy & NWA

Let’s see you try to pick one out of many of the gems dropped during this interview.

Sway referred to fellow West Coast rapper, Paris, as the Black Panther of Hip-Hop during his introduction and that’s the perfect title for him.

Paris touches on the issues he has with our government as well as his disappointment in the way Hip-Hop has evolved. Having multiple degrees in economics, he explains how school helped him remain independent and how to handle himself as a Black man in corporate America.

Paris’ “Pistol Politics” released on September 15th and if you haven’t already, make sure you check that out.
