Big thank you to the legendary Kool Rock-Ski of The Fat Boys/The Disco 3 and City the Great for coming on my show for an interview! Kool Rock-Ski discussed how being apart of something so iconic is a blur to him, meeting Prince Markie Dee and Buff, and how they entered into the Coca-Cola WBLS contest that would change their lives. He talked about working with Kurtis Blow on the first two Fat Boys albums, Russell Simmons not wanting to expand their role in Krush Groove, and their encounter with Michael Jackson at the Grammy Awards. He told stories about Prince, Mike Tyson, and collaborating with Robert Englund as Freddy Krueger on their song Are You Ready For Freddy. He also spoke about Jermaine Dupri and Diddy planning on doing a Fat Boys reunion album before Buff passed away, losing Mark, and working with City the Great.
