Florida artist Blaze Bar$ is no newcomer to the music scene. He was born January 31, 1997 in Gainesville to a family with deep roots in music. His father was a bass guitarist for several bands and his cousin is Clevie, half of Steely & Clevie. They are known as the inventors of Jamaican dancehall music. They’ve produced artists like Red Rat, Elephant Man, Shabba Ranks, Bernie Man & Buju Blanton.
Recording, mixing & performing songs were a hobby for Blaze since the age of 10. As he got older, he would begin to take his career more seriously. By the time he graduated high school, he had already made a buzz for himself in his hometown. This led him to many opportunities like opening for bigger acts that passed through Gainesville such as YNW Melly, Glocknine & Dej Loaf.
