Conway the Machine has dropped a surprise single titled “Front Lines” inspired by the current mass protests across the United States of America, demanding justice for the murder of 46-year-old African American man George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis, Minnesota police.
“Front Lines” was produced by longtime collaborator Beat Buthca and finds the Griselda Records emcee address the current political climate and ongoing extrajudicial killings of unarmed African Americans. His deeply emotional second verse goes into depth about the murder of George Floyd with Conway wondering how he’d react if that were to happen to his own son.
