Hip-hop star Juvenile is stepping in front of the camera to play a hard-edged gangsta in the movie The Power of Few. The film, directed by Leone Marucci, is the story of one violent day as told from the perspective of three different characters.
“To be honest, when they said Christian Slater and Christopher Walken and Anthony Anderson — right there that’s three people that I really like,” Juvie told Nola.com. “I watch their movies. I watch Mobsters, I watch King of New York, I watch the movies that Anthony’s done with my fellow rapper DMX in the beginning. I’ve seen him do movies that I’ve loved a lot, like Barbershop.”
The rapper also plans to release music on the movie’s soundtrack.
