Game receives praise of the highest order as Dr. Dre sent him a text co-signing “Jesus Piece”.
West Coast is seeing a reprisal as of late with the heralded release of Kendrick Lamar’s Good Kid, m.A.A.d city, and now The Game is poised to drop his anticipated album Jesus Piece.
After already dropping some of the singles to great fanfare, and tearing it up with his free “Sunday Service” records, fans have high expectations for Jayceon’s fifth studio album, which will be his last with the label Interscope.
One of Cali’s biggest hip hop legends, Dr. Dre, got an early listen of the project and had nothing but high praise. Game shared a text he received from the Doc that said “Your album is Dope. The song with D’Angelo sample is fuckin Crazy. Great job. Congratulations!!!!” He is referring to the track “All That” which has a smooth sample from D’Angelo.
This is good news for fans, and hip hop heads in general as we may have another contender for album of the year. Jesus Piece drops this Tuesday, December 18th.
