2 men are wanted in prostitution case
Police are looking for two men considered armed and dangerous and who are accused of running local prostitution rings.
SkiBo, of Chula Vista is a parolee who has been on the lam since December, police said. Mayo is charged in a warrant with pimping, pandering and money laundering. He is goes by the names "Cashinova" or "SkiBo."
Suga Shaft, of San Diego was convicted last month in San Diego Superior Court on two counts of pimping and is facing a 25-year prison term, but he failed to show up for his sentencing, vice Detective Russ Bristol said.
Smith is known on the street as "Shugashaft."
Mayo and Smith are accused of forcing their prostitutes to have tattoos showing they work for them, Sgt. Mark Sullivan said.
Smith forced his girls to be branded with tattoos stating, "I am the property of Shugashaft; all that come in contact with me are in debt to him," Detective Nick Borrelli said.
Authorities believe Mayo may have been planning to move operations to Hawaii or Canada.
