The background is the result of how the shot came out. The OG photo was dark like that and I couldn't but the hand out because it washed away in the black background. I didn't want to shoot it again cuz I don't own a tripod, so the shot is difficult to get. Thanks for the comments.

you need to put shadows under the gloves on the paper and under the "e" that's being placed on the paper

this needs to be polished up, you should have used different paper textures on each of the letters... the way you have them now makes it look like they are clear because it's the same texture as the original paper, then shadows need to be added on everything pretty much.
