i agree, most the artist in the bay is lack'n good beats.....most ppl only listen to a song if the beat is good even me most the time if i ain't feel'n the beat i prolly wont fuck with the song....good beats is a must and if you're delivery the flow and lyrics are on point the shit'll be a hit....

but if your beats is weak you better have some top notch lyrics and flow otherwise no one will fuck it...

At the same time you could spend all your money on your project and if you don't have any money left for promotion and marketing you'll end up with the same result.I agree that most cats don't get quality production but the majority of them don't have a quality flow either.You need to have it all not one or the other.just my opinion
