Thats right.....Skype is offering free calls to any number within the US and Canada until December......and as always PC to PC calls are always free.....

A couple of questions, if you will.

Does it keep a log of the calls you make? (That I do not need)

and, when and how would you get billed? Would it show up as some extra on your internet bill? How, exactly?

Yes, it has a "history" tab which shows a log of all the calls you have made/received....you can just delete the log entries if you dont want them...

It is completely FREE until December.......just d/l the program, set it up, and you're ready to call....and as I said before PC to PC calls are always free.....

It works. I downloaded when they anounced free calling from your pc to any land line or cellphone. You gotta have a mic on your pc though. It's the bomb if you gotta laptop and near an access point. Or you can get a Wi-Fi phone.
