how was the mitchy slick and dj quik show at the roseland????

I saw the one in Spokane. It was fuckin sweet. There were some sound problems during Mitchy Slick's set though. For some reason the music was not very loud at all and Mitchy Slick's mic was extremely quieter than the guy backin him up, Tiny Doo's. They fixed it though for Quik's set and he fuckin rocked it. I was kinda pissed though that they said he was bringin that 13 piece band with him like they had at his House Of Blues shows but there definitely wasn't one there, just a DJ.

I went to the one in Portland as well. You can read my full review, with pics, over at dubcc by clicking here - http://www.dubcc.com/forum/index.php?topic=112171.0 - Also, at the Portland show Quik gave an explanation for the band. Saying that they were getting VERY big, and that they just left to go on an overseas tour, playing for the Dave Mathews Band. Quik said he'd almost rather be out there with them lol....but, check my review and let me know what you think family.

He performed a track with him fea. Domino & AMG that he said they had just finished in a Portland studio, 6 hours before hand, and that song would be apart of a top secret project he was working on right now.
