a great read if u have the time. its an essay its long (about 16 pages), but its definitely worth it, some u can skim over. it talks about how, using Iverson and when he was arrested in 2002 over a domestic dispute, the media and other people treated the whole ordeal, dealing with him being black and creating the image of him as the "angry and agressive Black man." i could go into it more but i'll wait to see if anyone reads it.
edit: its not just about iverson, hes a main example for the discussion of black masculinity.
