Fighter of the Year - Guillermo Rigondeaux
Rigondeaux, while not a superstar or fan favorite, the fact remains he had the single biggest win of the year completely outclassing 2012's fighter of the year, former WBC, WBO Bantamweight, WBA Super Flyweight, IBF and IBO Flyweight Champion in Nonito Donaire winning the lineal Super Bantamweight title and unifying the WBA/WBO super Bantamweight titles. Followed up with a compubox record setting performance against an always tough Joseph Agbeko, who has never been shut out in this fashion before. All in all Rigondeaux was unbelievable, hardly losing a round in 24 total rounds.
Runner up: Adonis Stevenson - Darnell Boone KO, Chad Dawson KO, Tavoris Cloud TKO, Tony Bellew TKO.
Knock out of the Year: Adonis Stevenson TKO1 Chad Dawson. In what Chad Dawson referred to as a tune up fight, Stevenson iced Dawson with the first significant punch in the opening round. While there were a few more flashy KO's this year, the significance of winning the lineal Light Heavyweight Championship in a matter of seconds and changing the landscape of the boxing world for years to come makes this the true KO of the year.

Awesome video here top 20 KO's
Upset of the year - Jhonny Gonzalez TKO1 Abner Mares.
Mares was a heavy favorite, beating every opponent he faced past few years considered the only real challenge to Nonit9o Donaire at the time. Iced in the first round by a 55-8 veteran.
Runner ups: Srisaket Sor Rungvisai TKO8 Yota Sato, Marcos Maidana W12 Adrien Broner, Adonis Stevenson TKO1 Chad Dawson, Jesus Soto Karass TKO12 Andre Berto, Shawn Porter W12 Devon Alexander, Juan Francisco Estrada W12 Brian Viloria, Tony Thompson KO2 David Price.
Fight of the year - Tim Bradley vs Ruslan Provodnikov.
This, at times, was a real life Rocky movie. The heavy underdog Provodnikov pummeled Bradley beating him to a pulp in numerous rounds, while Bradley showed true heart & courage surviving multiple knockdowns and in the rounds he won boxed well. Brutal ebb and flow action. Bradley admitted after the fight he blacked out after round 10 and had no memory of the championship rounds. Also stated his speech was slurred for months after the fight.

Robber of the year - Ricky Burns D12 Raymundo Beltran
Amazingly, 2013 didn't see too many robberies. Some questionable decisions, but for the most part the right guy won the vast majority of the time. This was not the case in Scotland where Beltran clearly beat up Burns, breaking his jaw in the process, knocking him down in the 8th and nearly knocking him out numerous times.
Prospect of the year - Vasyl Lomachenko
While he only made his pro debut months ago, all eyes are on Lomachenko who had an amatuer record of 300-1. He is fighting Salido for a title fight in his second pro fight coming up soon, going for a record.
Runner up: Erroll Spence 10-0 (8 KO's).
Most exciting fighter & Break out year: - Sergey Kovalev
Wow, The Krusher out of Russia had an amazing year aboslutely destroying all oponents starting out by crushing Campillo in 3 rounds, Corneluis White in 3 rounds, picking up a title by stopping Nathan Cleverly in 4 rounds and annihilating Ismayl Sillakh in 2 rounds.
Event of the Year - Mayweather vs Canelo. 2.2 million PPV buys. $150 million generated. Insane.
Greatest achievement - Bernard Hopkins beating Tavoris Cloud to become the oldest champion in the history of boxing (48 years old), beating the prior record of 46 held by none other than Bernard Hopkins.
Comeback fighter of the year: Marcos Maidana. After being shut out by Devon Alexander and looking like he is at the tail end of his year in 2012, he came back in 2013 knocking out Josesito Lopez in 6 and winning a UD over Adrien Broner.
The "I think there might be a problem with my face" award: Denis Lebedev against Guillermo Jones. Fuck.
