could someone give me a fucking clue!!! from a to z! i need to get this working!

Cubase Right? tell us about your setup(Computer and Program) and What your tryin' to do
Do you have the VST instrument Installed?
Try clicking on the VST Instruments in the Pull Down Menus, then Slect the Instrument form there.
Then You pick it from the instrument box on your main window. It shoudl work form there.
Do you Have MIDI connectec to your comp.?

ok this is the thing, i get a midi signal when i hit a key, and the damn thing records and plays back fine, i just cant hear it WHILE ITS RECORDING!! WTF? I HAVE A NEW SYSTEM NOW, AMD 1700 WITH 512 RAM AND RUNNING CUBASE VST 32 5.1 I BELIEVE. YES I HAVE A COUPLE VST DRUM MACHINES, A JUNO SYNTH AND A FEW OTHER SYNTHS I AM IN DESPERATE NEED OF USING. THANKS

My shit used to do that too phil. Wait for me to get to my house and I'll walk you through getting your shit working. In the meantime, walk me through exactly what you would do to set up your vst and cubase (what file menu you pull down, what you click on, etc)
