Really dope that he's getting his own festival. It's too bad that the Midwest isn't where this festival is being held. I really want to go to this.

TICKET INFORMATION
The festival may contain mature content. All tickets will be exchanged for wristbands prior to entering the fairgrounds. You MUST keep your wristband on at all times for re-entry. Two-day ticket holders will get one wristband for the entire weekend. Jade Presents is not responsible for lost wristbands and can NOT reissue new ones, even with a ticket stub.

Jade Presents is proud to announce Tech N9ne’s Independents Day Music Fest 2011. Taking place on July 3-4 at the Lewis & Clarke Fairgrounds in Helena,MT ,the festival will bring together one of the largest gatherings of independent artists today. The staggering line up features Tech N9ne, Andre Nickatina, Kottonmouth Kings, Murs, Doomtree, P.O.S., Dessa, Blueprint, Jay Rock, Mayday, Hopsin, Stevie Stone, Kidz In The Hall, and many more! im confused on this a bit..

Is this really his festival ? will there be exclusive "festival merch" just for this event ? will there be an exclusive music given out at the event ?

Well MT's a big market for him, and even more so than that, it's probably the organizer of this thing that decided to base a whole fest around Tech. If a promoter in South Dakota did this instead, we'd be compaining about that too. Damn good line-up though.

maybe this will lead to Tech actually being invited to Soundset next year... like i've been wanting for years. notice all the Rhymesayers artists on there.
