I saw a post on Releaselog about it and grabbed the first episode of season one. After watching it, I grabbed all episodes I could find. Season two is on the air now.

Survivors is about a small group of people that survive a flu outbreak that kills almost everyone. It's similar to the first half of King's "The Stand". There's almost no one left alive, and the people that are alive have no idea what they're going to do next or how to stay alive. There are other bands of survivors that are generally assholes.

The show seems like it's got a good budget and the production quality is great. The acting is well done for the most part. There are one or two cheesy elements to this show, but they're minor and easy to look past.

I've only seen the first two episodes, but so far I'm really impressed with this show.

If you're a fan of post-apocalyptic fiction, this should go to the top of your list of "shit to watch". Season 1 only has six episodes. Each episode is an hour (except the first, it's 1.5 hours).

watched the first two episodes, it's pretty decent. I was lightweight hoping it would turn out to be a zombie show but doesn't appear that way.

Seems like at the end of both episodes they're hinting the virus that killed everyone was man made and controlled by a small elite group of people. Sounds like some gathering of minds NWO type shit
