Just got that Sub Funk this week, and damn this shit is tight. At first I wasnt really expecting much cause I thought most of the album will have too much off a "Hip Hop" fell that would bore me, but damn I was wrong. Beats are tight and Pkids and G-boogies flows and lyrics are pretty damn tight. This shit is a lot better than alot of other shit out. Shit is a mix of hip hop, hustler shit, and some party shit.
I got like about 7 cds this week (free agents, new mall, hood fellaz, devin, prime factorz, a-wax, and a couple others) and this submarine funk is the only shit I listen to, from beginning to end. I didnt think the intro and outro would be shit till I heard it..shit is pretty much a song and tight. That skit from KMEL where theyre rapping over that DOC beat is fucking TIGHT..too bad it isnt a regular track without the KMEL advertisement instead of a skit.
Ima have to check out that Done Deal Fam.
