So I keep getting left in the dust by these fucking Japanese players. I'll barely finish in 2nd place within the 30 seconds allotted after the first place finisher finishes. What I've noticed is every time they make a turn, they get a mushroom speed burst. Is there a way to do this with the wheel because I haven't figured it out yet?
Also, have you unlocked everything yet? I still need Baby Luigi, the second Mii outfit, the Spear (large bike), and the Sprinter (medium kart) only because I can't beat the ghosts on Time Trials.
How many races have you done? I'm at 1,002 and I think I can unlock the rest of the characters and karts after a certain amount of races. But it took over three months to get 1,000 races, so I'm not holding my breath.
