Pc Games???

Jus built a new pc the other week got some cool soft warez like photshop and flash, but i don't really have any games apart from Age of empires 2 and motorcross madness, can you recomend any good new or old games worth gettin??,

Sim/building stuff/Armies (Simcity, civizlization, Age or empires)

Freestyle/racing (no track) (Tony hawks, Motorcross madness)

Shooting/Adventure (Doom, Quake, Shadowman, half life)

......... I'm not really into sports games, RPG's, space games or puzzles.
