^^^^^^^^fuck that........ive been watching baseball since i was a little kid.....i always knew steroids were in it....but fuck that, i never did and never will respect anyone who did them......i and personally believe anyone who gets caught once should get a lifetime ban, and yeah pete rose did not deserve it for betting on his own team to win, thats fucked up!!!!!!

^^^Pete rose got banned cuz he lied to everyone about it, including the Commissioner, and theyre not going to appreciate it.


Steroids have been going on for 20 years, and werent an issue in 1998 during the home run race, and everyone LOVED what was going on then. What im saying is, lets look the other way when no one says anything, but a list comes out thats SUPPOSED TO BE CONFIDENTIAL and now its a big deal? i dont give a fuck about the players doing it, the people running the league are the real perpetrators here.

^^^^ yeah i agree to an extent but i never looked the other way....i thought sammy shoulda been banned when he corked his bat.......i guess i just look towards the puriest aspect of it....cuz if griffey, nolan ryan, ryne sandburg, & cal ripken can dominant the game without steroids then i believe that if ur truely good at the game u dont need em either......

Ken Griffey Jr is my favorite athlete of all time, and its weird because im a DIE HARD Royals fan, and just got done watchin us beat the Twins 4-2 btw .

But yeah, Griffey is the greatest player of our generation, he was amazing. Everyone else had to use steroids or something like that and most still couldnt top what he did.

If it wasnt for the injuries, Griffey would be way over 700 HRs right now. And man am I proud Griffey is my fav player and not guys like Barry Bonds, Sosa, A Rod, Manny....I could go on and on.

i feel u on that, and i can dig how it taints the game for fans, but i dunno, rather than picking out who didnt, who did, doubting people stats, and how good players "really" are (i.e Pujols), i instead get bothered by how the MLB handled it, which was doing nothing, and then letting baseball become a mockery at the hands of Congress. The whole ordeal disgusts me, and like i said, the players are just the tip of the iceberg. We must also remember that these steroids that people are getting so worked up about werent tested for until 2003.

^^^^i feel ya brother.... the whole thing pisses me off.......the people who did em and the MLB, i know the past is the past and theres nothing u can do to change it......but what would make me happy is that u tested positive and theres proof then that automatically means no HOF......and the other thing that would make me happy is takin Bonds name of that record holder title he is on currently (but i know that wont happen)......LOng live HAMMERING HANK, one of the nicest people i ever met.......
