As far as Outkast, they done switched up their style from the good ol' days like "SouthernPlayalistic" and "ATLiens". Thats why most fools gave up on em' except the trend followers. Their music is mostly crap now.

I aint tryin to knock what you sayin, but sometimes commercial rap is too soft, i mean yea ayebody got they own preferences, but some of this commercial shit is to soft.....now you got nelly and muthafukin nsync doing songs and they doing exactly what they gettin paid for....commercial music.......i prefer dat undaground shit because i feel it more than commercial music, talkin about all they gold, and clubs, cars etc.....no lie, I aint got half the shit they talkin about....but I do have a muthafukin blunt and a 40 to listen to some undaground shit that relates to me best.....to each his own.

Im just sick of the trendy "bling bling, flossin my Benz" shit that is in damn near EVERY FUCKIN SONG in mainstream rap. I wont deny that there is mainstream rappers with talent....but mainstream rap as a whole doesnt appeal to me because of this corny ass trend goin on right now. I would much rather listen to underground rappers with real talent murderin mics and spittin REAL shit with creative, original lyrics. Wait for the northwest to start makin some big noise. Seattle got some of the best secrets....and we're about to unleash with new sounds and lyrics to captivate them eardrums....so be on the lookout!

yeah i feel you j-law, i used to be the same way...i automatically dismissed shit on the radio or mtv as being wack because it wasn't "underground"...looking back i realize i was a dumbfuck cause i limited myself to one form of hip-hop...theres so much tight shit out there, regardless whether its lynch, dre, nelly, timbaland, whoever - if its tight, its tight. though i still stick primarily to local/undergound shit, i no longer look at mainstream shit like i did when i was a kid.

that hiphop rant was very inspiring and i agree with almost totally, but i still got more love for more underground artists.. not cuzz they underground, just cuzz i like them more.. if mac dre blew up and was the new trend i would still bump him just cuzz hes mac dre, i could give a fuck if hes popular or not.

ludas first cd was better , word of mouff had only a few songs that were any good , the new eminem is tight , i havent heard any of new outcast's stuff, ive always liked em through. i ussally listen and see if the cd has some substance , ya know maybe have a few deep tracks on an issue
