Currently, the Northwest maintains a self-perpetuating underground hip-hop movement, a culture that is maintained almost entirely by word of mouth, local interest, and internet exposure. - Wikipedia.org

...Three questions. Is there even enough people that we should be worried exclusively about our own city limits? Is there enough collaboration/networking between area codes (206, 503, 425, 253, 509, etc...) in your opinion? Would our music scene be more stable if we all started calling ourselves "northwest artists" instead of Portland rapper, Seattle rapper, etc;.?

thats what hes sayin, we consider ourselves by our city

like ima Tacoma Rap Cat, kev is a Seattle Rap Cat, and so on

instead of unifying ALL of us as NW Rap Cats
Im sure everybody does but we are still northwest artist... But as long as you getting your money and sticking to your hustle, good things should come. I wouldn't even worry about getting put in a box. That should be the last thing on any artist on the ups mind. Get that money,do shows, and stay hustling
