well we met with the owners of the spot and it's ours for the taking. Rent is fairly priced and if we decide to roll with it we'll be in business late Feb or Early March... got to get all the proper licenses locked down. The spot is located right off Highway 99 in Merced...
We'll be dumpin cds there for $8.99 and less. We may or may not do consignments... there's too much involved in handling them. So itz up in the air. If your product is priced reasonbly low we'll buy some and try to push it. Knockin music will speak for itself fa sho. We'll also be offering Display Board Advertising for a minimal monthly fee. Artists and Labels willbe able to maximize their visibility with these. We also are gonna offer Mix Tape (Cds)... these will most likely be our niche along with underground titles ... we won;t be carrying major label product unless we get it dirt cheap... so we can sell it @ $8.99 or less.
Labels & Artists.. at this point WE NEED POSTERS, FLATS, FLYERS, GLOSSIES, PROMO CDS, SNIPPETS ... not to mention product. We are tryin to combat laggin indie sales with lower priced indie cds... if you're willing to go below wholesale with your product holla at us.... we're not gonna buy huge quantities of titles at this point becuz we don;t know what folks are swoopin until we actually open and start sellin shit. We'll try our best to accomodate the indie artists and labels. Remember this is an ample opportunity to be heard and gain more fans in our area. So think rationally and accordingly.
