A lil review of Mellowed Out Madness
One of the most professional releases out tha D-Town. This album features something for everybody, showcasing all tha talent of tha Mellowed Out Family. From gangsta tracks like "Spit It Out" featuring Yukmouth to hit slow jam "B4 Makin Luv" to tha club knocker "Thong Ranger" this album has something for everybody.

Tha first track is a intro but tha second track "Move Quick" by Disco got a hype ass beat that will get yo head bobbin fa sho, disco spits some gangsta shit "I don't cop bricks so I gotta pull licks and I got a full clip" somethin all yall street cats can relate to. Tha third track features none other than Yukmezz on "Spit It Out" and tha shit is hard as fuck, tha Mellowed Out All-Stars spit some hard as verses but Yuk comes in and just drops a heated ass verse "Poppin tablets/Got tha acid by tha door incase tha task hit" this shit is some sav shit 4sure. The fourth track "Pimp Baby" is more of a laidback, some shit to drop all tha windows in your lac on a hot night when you headed to tha club. Tha fifth track "Smoke Bud" features Loonatik and Anotha Day Anotha Dolla's Dragon E, tha beat kinda reminds me of Hollow Tip's "Blow Up" but this track right here is some shit smoke some of that mile high bomb too. The next track, Track 6, is by tha YoungBuck$ called "Pimpin Da Scene" tha youngest cats on tha Mellowed Out roaster but these cats "Hotter than cherrys fallin off blunt dubees" pleezbleevit. Track 7 is a funny ass skit but it fades into tha eighth track called "Tell Me" featuring So Lovely and Ovadose, its more of a slow jam wit some gangsta shit mixed into it. So Lovely got such a bomb ass voice, When y'all hear her y'all will be like dayummmm. This is another standout track without a doubt but not as tight as tha next track "Lookin At Cha" with West Coast Mafia Record's LiL Cyco, this track is more upbeat then tha track before. It also features Dragon E, Insane and So Lovely. Track 10 is tha next 1 and it's called "B4 Makin Luv" by J-Cam and it's without a doubt a super smooth ass slow jam guaranteed to get your lady in tha mood. Next up is tha banger "Deep Thoughts" featuring the Mellowed Out All-Stars and one and only Young Gangsta Droop. Loonatik got tha verse he sets tha whole vibe for tha song but once Young Droop gets on this shit he rips it up "Get Lit, Lay some game on yo bitch / Fuck that ho / Spit A Loogy in that bitchs face / Hoe go get that dough." Track 13 is by Disco and its called "Life Ain't E-Z" its more upbeat than that track "Deep Thoughts." Disco got some tight ass wordplay. Next is a track that's stuck in my head to this day, its called "Loona" and its by you guess who, Lunatik and features Insane. It's followed up by another banger by Mr. Make It Happen & Denver's Legendy Dez called "Major Paypa." I always been a fan of Dez for tha longest. Tha beat on this track is off tha hook and Dez rips tha track sicker than "Michael Jackson and Al Sharpton runnin a train on Dolly Parton" but Mr. Make It Happen holds his own down to without a doubt. Tha next track features bay area pioneer Rappin' 4-Tay called "Paypa Off Top" this shit got a saucy pop yo colla typa beat, personaly I think tha Mellowed Out All-Stars outshine 4-tay on this track but his verse is heated none tha less. Up next, Track 17 "Trust My Hoe" by .30 Kal who I think shoulda been featured more thru out this album cuz this track is tight, it's laid back but diggin this shit. 30. Kal got a kinda raspy voice but it goes perfect with tha beat. Track 18 is called "Thong Ranger" when I first copped this cd I looked at this shit like..."Thong Ranger?!?" but once I finally reached tha 18th track I was bobbin my head hard as fuck, man if this track or "Lookin At Cha" could hit tha radio it would blow this cd up all over. It ain't on no corny shit, believe that. Thong Ranger is followed up by a slower track called "Thin Line" by Mellow featuring Mr. Make It Happen & the Mellowed Out All-Stars. I love tha chorus on this track right here, tha song is mostly dedicated toward tha females. Next up is tha last real song on tha cd and its a tribute to tha legendry 2Pac by Disco.

This cd is a great album showcasing the talent we got out in tha Mile High City better known as tha 303. It ain't on no kill kill shit like a Brotha Lynch cd but at tha same time it ain't on no "Real" hiphop shit either. You can't go wrong for $12. Keep an eye out for Mellowed Out Entertainment doin big thangs from 2003 to 2050. Message board for MELLOWED OUT ENTERTAINMENT can be found at http://www.siccness.net/.
