mastering tracks off ADOBE AUDITION (new cool edit version)

i'm trying to get my tracks to sound as clean as possible... all i do is track the beats, adjust the volumes then hard limit the mixdown to .08.

is there a different way should be doing it or am i mastering it right?

Ok. Record them clean.

Yes you can do it a different way. No you are not mastering right.

Being vague won't help you.

i too have been wondering the same, i cant seem to get down the levels right before i export em, they dont lock where i set them..
