Manny Pacquiao Hospitalized With Acid Reflux Issue

According to a report in ABS-CBN, WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao was hospitalized on Sunday in Manila after complaining of severe stomach pain. Pacquiao is preparing for his new job as congressman after being elected on May 10 to represent the southern province of Sarangani in the Philippines.

Pacquiao's lawyer Franklin Gacal said it's nothing to worry about and he should be fine. Gacal told AFP that Pacquiao suffered from this issue in the past. A hospital rep told reporters Pacquiao gets severe stomach pains after exhausting himself while skipping meals.

"It was just his usual acid reflux. The doctor told me there is nothing to worry about," Gacal said. "There was even no need for him to be confined but he wanted to take a rest after the campaign

Pacquiao has had acid reflux for about 7 years. (I've had it for 10 years never touched roids). It's quite common.

You can dig up old articles from 2000/2001 of Pacquiao's acid reflux problems.

So I guess using your logic pac has been withdrawing from roids for 10 years right? Same with me? And the other 40 million americans that have it too?

Man, I've had acid reflux for a few years. I've had to go to the ER because of it, but they keep telling me that I don't have GERD.


It only acts up when I eat pineapples or other really acidic food.

^^same shit for me, cant eat acidic foods but I do have GERD. Went to the ER like three times before they figured that out, symptoms are exactly like a heart attack! scary shit.

I'm on some good meds now keeps that shit in check for the most part. Still gotta eat tums occasionally other than that I'm good.

yea, acid reflux aint no joke....Its fucked up, that i cant enjoy certain things like i used to such as my morning coffee that i would drink to get my day started.....I even went so far as to change up my eating lifestyle b/c of this bullshit and it has helped considerably (used to get reflux on the daily cuz i didnt realize that my reflux triggers went beyond coffee).......To the point where i no longer need any kind of meds as long as i steer completely away from my reflux triggers...
