WWE Cruiserweight champion Kid Kash did indeed break his arm due to a stiff kick from Tony Santarelli while working for WWE developmental territory Deep South Wrestling last Thursday. There were some who were hoping it was just a bad bruise but we've confirmed it was in fact a break. At the Smackdown house shows this weekend, they did a strange deal where the injury was announced and a match was held to crown a new Cruiserweight champion. The match then ended with a DQ, so Kash was ruled still Cruiserweight champion.
