nah, i feel the same, 3 stooges ain't really funny to me or interesting, it gets old real fast. i do like those silent films, cause of the stunts they were doing back then and there's always some things in background you miss the first time around.

I'll be watching this for two reasons; Jim Carrey is in it and the Farrelly brothers are directing. This combo = I'm paying to watch it in theaters. And to those knocking the 3 stooges.. I don't really think they're that funny but how can you act like it's not going to be different? You have a couple of comedic geniuses directing the movie and an entirely new set of actors playing the characters.

^Maybe they're just ignorant? I don't know. I don't care. Whatever they say, won't prevent me from seeing the movie. Everyone has their own tatse in movies, I know that. But to me, it seems sometimes people can just be too damn closeminded about shit.

You have to understand, that when The 3 Stooges were popping, the whole movie era was just getting started. Them and Chaplin were like the pioneers of this comedy shit(among others). What they thought was funny back in the early 1900's is really different from today's comedy. But them Stooges' films are still hilarious to me.

i am sure this movie will be different and entirely not like the original, like most remakes are and most folks are talking about in general the original show not really appealing to them.

Well considering what's funny today, I am sure this movie will not be the same as what the OG 3 Stooges did in them films back in the day. The movie hasn't even been released, and not one single solitary preview has been released, and it's already getting negative critisim. I just don't get it. If you haven't seen a preview or anything, why hate? Jim Carrey is in it, so it's got to have some sort of hilarity in it.

well the criticism might be cause some people seem to just be abrasive to remakes cause they think some things shouldn't be tampered with or don't find jim carrey funny or think he's been not doing so well for his last movies. who knows, you know people be nit picky bout everything. i'd like a fire marshall bill movie myself

Moe, Larry, Curly, and Shemp were my only favs. I didn't think them others were all that funny. That's just me, though.
