Ive been trying to do this for weeks and its fuckin impossible. Everything i throw gets clobbered. I hate using the stick to pitch, god forbid u just have a normal bar and location thing to do it with.

do the tutorial for a little while.. it shouldn't take you longer than fifteen minutes to get it.. try fastballs for a while, then switch to other pitches once you get them down...

Pull back, once the bar expands to its limit, push forward, and once it looks like its in the center let go..

Its exactly the same as the old system, but with a stick. Once you get the hang of it, its way better.

Yeah. i've thrown a no hitter in the game before. The thing just takes a little getting used to, its a really good system though. My brother even knows how to use it and he sucks at using the stick in sports games.

Fools! Why'd you cop MLB 2k8? You should have copped MLB: The Show 2008. Its sick as fuck! I had a thread about this game. You gotta read the reviews before you buy the game. Hella people bagged on MLB 2k8. Sucks to be you. I hope you didn't pay $40-50 for it. Go out to get MLB THE SHOW 2008. You get live team updates for online play.

Thats the only game Ive played since buy my ps3 couple months ago. The game also keeps track of all your stats and record. I'm 74-41 with a batting average of .320. My pitching isn't so great tho. But I win games by hitting.

It sucks that xbox 360 only has 1 baseball game mlb 2k8. I'm thinking about getting it, but for anyone out there that owns it, is it worth picking up? I've heard mixed reviews so I don't really know what to believe.

I really like it.. I dunno. I takes some getting used to with the pitching and hitting mechanics, but I think you can turn those off, if you want a more traditional approach, but i'm not sure.
