About time Caballero gets to dance under the lights. It's funny that he fought on one of the Vazquez/Marquez undercards against the awkward Lacierva and was slammed the whole time by the announcers with them saying that either Vazquez/Marquez would blow him away like he didn't exist.

My opinion has not changed about Berto, did a good job against a dirty fighting Quintana tonight but Berto relies to much on power punches. Once he fights a great fighter hes gonna get picked apart. Hes probably lucky he didnt fight Mosley, he should just pile on the wins let the older fighters finish up there careers fighting eachother.

T-Rip, you're right on point. Berto is nowhere near ready for Mosely, Mayweather or Pacquiao. Mosely would have broke Berto down by the 6th Round. I give him credit for beating a game Quintana, but if Quintana had more power, it would have been lights out for Berto. His defense has way too many holes and he struggles against taller fighters. He should either consider going down to 140, where he could possibly rule, or continue to improve his defense. Good hard fought win though. The kid has got heart

I agree, berto isn't ready yet for the elite of 147. Solid fighter though, very explosive when he wants to be.

Caballero is the paul williams of 126, just like him in that he's huge and throws non-stop punches. Looked impressive. But I'd like to see how he can handle a power shot from Gamboa or Juan Lopez.

Berto showed heart in that fight, I had Quintana winning before the stoppage good win for him. I just think Berto is too small for 147, he should go down to 140

Caballero put on a clinic, great performance(reminds me of Paul Williams) so good hes gonna be one of the most avoided fighters in boxing

I can't give a fair judgement on Caballero based on this fight. The dude he was fighting had no business in the ring with him. With that said, if he fights a legitmate fighter, it won't be so easy to get off all those punches he landed on Yordan. Dude was made perfect for him. He stood right in front of him, with little to no movement, and though he punished him, he didn't really hurt the guy or have him in danger of being knocked out.

Caballero's been straight dominating opponents though, The Ring has his top 10 pound 4 pound.

Yordan showed how easily Cab can be countered at times, which is why I wonder what would happen against a big puncher like Gamboa or Lopez. Those are the only two guys I think can beat him at 126, everyone else Cab is too much, including Chris John.

Caballero is on a 15 fight win streak that includes wins over Somsak (stopped him), Pastrana (stopped him), Parra (stopped him), Molitor (stopped him), Mathebula and now the undefeated Yordan who didn't look an inch as good as he was looking against the highly touted Robert Guerrero.

.. and that's not including wins over solid guys like Castillo & Lacierva. I'd pick him to bust Juanma's ass and give Gamboa a serious run for his money especially if Gamboa can't get to him early.

Yep, there is a reason JuanMa has ducked Caballero for TWO years now and why Bob Arum doesn't want Lopez going near him and is sending Gamboa to do his dirty work once again (the other time being having Gamboa fight Mtagwa rather than have Lopez rematch him).

He straight up called Lopez a faggot and says he wears a skirt.

Well if you look at the size advantage alone, that will clearly tell you why he has been able to dominate very good opponents. He's a freak of nature, and to his credit, he is a very busy fighter. But again, he didn't wow me with any speed or great movement. But in case he doesn't need any of the above at this point. The pure pressure he puts on his opponents wears them down. I honestly don't know much about him or many of the fighters at the lower weight classes, but for those fighters that are ducking him, they are just making him that much more of an appealing fighter like Paul Williams became.
