AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH MUTHERFUCKSER FUCK FUCK WHAT THE FUCK. GRALOAIUFOUDOUFODUFOUDOFU.
Sorry had to vent.

Here's the story, playing hold em poker with friends. 4 players left, me and another player had the most chips but pretty much even between the two of us. I raise before the flop, 2 players w/the smallest stacks fold, and the other calls. I have pocket rockets, AA. Flop comes out: 10, 7, 2. I go all in and the dude calls. He reveals AQ, pretty much dead against mine. Except he had a flush draw on the flop, so the only way he could win was with another suit match. Turn comes out, Q, different suit. So the only other way this guy can beat my pocket rockets is if he gets a suit to match his flush draw or another Q to get triplets. I was excited and thought I had him beat, river comes out, a face card and it's a suit that doesn't give the guy the flush. I thought I won and the guy thought he lost but another player said it's another Q on the river so the guy had 3 Q's. Fuckin got tooken out. Within 10 hands he wins the game and came up $40, fuck that should of been mine dammit. WTF a QQ on the turn and river, fucking runners. That's a krazy ass bad beat. Anyway I'm done venting and realizing it's poker for ya.

Somehwat of a bad beat, but it looks like it was just a $10 buy in. I've had worse beats with several hundred in the pot in one hand.

He had mad outs on that. The guy was on a flush draw with ace high.

That was the worst bad beat I've ever had. 2 Q's come out on the turn and river, wow. Actually it was only a $5 buyin, 4 other players were eliminated. I'm not mad that I lost the pot, actually I am mad about that, but I lost my 3 day winning streak which is what really urks me. Had I won that hand, I can guarantee you I would of took the pot.

All in on a tourney get a straight flush only to get booted by a higher straight flush. Thats my worst.
Youch did you have consecutive numbers suited or was there already 4 suits and consecutive numbers already?

he only had 9 club outs (37%) or catch running Q's (1%) at the turn he was about 38% to win and on the river he was at about 25% to win with either a club (9 of them) or another Q (2 of them).

if you ask me it was a rediculous call. at least to me that is. my opinion is that it is stupid to put all your chips in the pot ON A DRAW, especially if you only have a 37% chance of winning and a 63% chance of losing

2 weeks ago i was playing at a $40 buy in and 1st was gonna take $360 there are only threee of us left and i have AK suited-spades. the guy on the button raises all-in so i call him and he is embarressed to turn over as he only had a Q/5 suited-clubs. so flop comes out K/7/2 (no clubs).

at that point i am at 96% to win as he has to catch runner-runner in order to beat me (and his runner-runners cant be spades or i take it with flush). at this point he has 6 outs but he has to hit two of them with two cards to go.

so the turn comes a queen/ spades (puts me on flush draw). i am like "no this cant happen" in my mind. but still in great shape as i am still the favorite as he only has 4 outs left to win while i got 42 out of the remaining 46 cards to win with. that puts me at about 83%, which is down from 96% from earlier but still very good.

river comes a 5 of hearts. and i lose the pot. still have 2 chips left but thats nothin when the other 2 guys have over 100 chips each now.

i ended up taking third place and $100, but went back the next 2 days in a row to the poker room and won both times.

i got my name on the board and play for 5 G;s sept 10th. we'll see what happens

Well, we each play differently.
If you can resist someone calling an ALL IN when you are on a flush draw with an ace high and two more cards to come out, then you have some strong will power. Plus, there is no way he would have know his opponent had pocket rockets. Ace-Q suited is enough to go all-in pre-flop, to me anyways.

Haha fucking runners man. I am still thinking about that, the pot would of gave me 2 full tanks of gas too, fuck and I got a speeding ticket 2 days later. At least you doubled up your money and then some. That's pretty cool how you play statistically. I also play poker online and I must say it's so much easier to win online than in real life eventhough I won 3 times in a row with my bro's friends for the first time. I just moved to san diego and around the corner there's a card room casino with hold em YEEEEE! I may go play soon.

LOL have dumped AK several times. believe it or not i dumped pocket queens once beacuse two guys in front of me went all in (good thing as one had AA and the other had AK).

check this out, AK is an under dog pre flop to a pair of 2's.

if you go all in with an AK expect to be in a coin flip situation. mostly only pocket pairs on short stacks call all ins.

when i play in tournaments my goal is to accumulate chips SLOWLY. if you play fast you die fast. ya you might win 3 all ins in a row and triple up but the ONE TIME you lose, you are out. and if you are doing 50/50 coin flips you WILL eventually lose.

thats just my take. most of places i play people consider me to be one of the "tighter" players. but, hey, to each his own. look at Gus Hansen, he is a stupid and wreckless player, who plays very "loose" with his chips but, he is so very lucky he tends to win alote. i guess it is just how you feel better confortable with playing style.

only a 37% chance of hitting the nut flush. should be a good readson for not calling the all in.

not really, i just know the odds.

but you should have known he had something good. as he more than likely raised pre-flop and by going all-in with the two clubs on the board he is telling you that he wants you to fold because he has you BEAT but doesnt want you draw out on him and hit the flush. so that alone tells you that your only chance is the flush, which you will only hit 37% on the time

Well if you any of you dudes wanna play poker at the best poker site with 60,000 players let me know so I can refer you. By referring you, you get the best first deposit bonus of $25 when you deposit $50 (minimum). Easy money. I have friends and family on this site and some lose but those who lose are usually inexperienced with hold em. Those who are experienced win $100's weekly. My cousin the other day won $400 in one day within 2 hours of play. There's 50 cents and dollar tables where the max bet is $1. There's NL tourneys, put in $6 with a group of ten to win $25. Buy in $11 with a group of ten to win $50 (I won one 3 weeks ago lol). There's also tables not tourneys where you can play $25-$1000 NL. I usually play in the $25NL and $100NL. You can go into those tables (only 10 seats, some 6 seats) with a minimum of $5. You can go all in as much as you'd like as well that's where it's easy to make money. A lot of idiots out there with a lot of money. Not a better time to play with the poker craze going on and all the newbies trying to learn losing their money ahahahhahaa. Give me a pm if you're interested, I highly recommend it. There's also special tourneys where you can get into the WSOP, buy in $200 to win $250K or $500K. Free roll tourneys where you don't have to put in any money to win $1000, $500, etc. GIVE ME A PM!!! This shit is addicting and a lot of fun, kills time like a mutha. By the way, I've been playing at this site for 2 years and I've tried some others but none beats this one. Great graphics and it's the easiest to play.
