Detroit has a shrinking population and the highest crime rate in America too!

at one time (1950) Detroit had a population of about 2.1 Million... now it's down to 950,000. My Brothers friend who's from Detroit said there's alot of abandoned living space there.

Exactly. Like here in Seattle we have a low murder rate for a major metropolitan city, so most murders end up in the paper. But its still fucked up. Like if some white person in a white suburban neighborhood gets killed, its all over the TV and front page. But if theres a shooting in one of our black neighborhoods it gets no more than a little blurb in the 'Local News' section. And I see it happen alot, being somebody who reads the news everyday.

GARY WAS THE MURDER CAP FOR 2001. PER CAPITA. WE ONLY GOT LIKE 98,000 PEOPLE HERE. HOMICIDE WENT DOWN THOUGH ITS A GOOD THING. IT WAS MURDER CAP 8 OUT OF 10 YRS IN THE 90'S, WITH HOMICIDES AS HIGH AS 120. MUTHA FUCKAS UP ON THE EAST, WEST, AND SOUTH, BUT THE HARDEST MUTHA FUCKAS COME FROM THE MIDWEST.
