I have questions about selling remixes on a mixtape. Do you need clearance to get sell the remix? I know that major artists are selling mixtapes and whatnot, do they need permission to use other vocals or beats on there? How does one go about doing that?

good lookin....I guess that all applies here still, even though I'm talking about actual remixes not just a rapper adding their vocals to an already established copywritten song. so how would someone get permission to use vocals for their project if they want to go that route? I know artists would need to get royalties, but what kind of proccess would that entail? (even though I know it really wouldn't be worth it)
