movie would look better with an asian cast. jk. its Park, so i'll give it a shot for sure. looks like hollywood is starting to pull in several korean directors now. mixed results, so far. hopefully snowpiercer (bong joon-ho as producer) turns out well.

I'm pretty sure he's the writer/director of snowpiercer. I'm not too excited about that one since it's ANOTHER post apocalyptic scenario.

Honestly I'm not tired of the genre YET. There's like fiftyleven movies coming out with that theme this year tho. We'll all be sick of it by summer.

This was supposedly came out on the 1st, not seeing it in any theaters yet. Does anyone know what site i can check to see where they are screening this? I know its only gonna be in a few cities but I hope frisco is one of them.

Watched this movie yesterday in a (empty) theater. Was really good. I can see how some people might not like it though because it's different, dark & eerie, thus the mixed reviews, but the direction of the film was top notch. I really appreciate Chan-Wook Park's work. Hopefully he makes another American film.

caught it from redbox a few weeks back, this slaps super hard. film of the year, his best since the vengeance trilogy imo.
