Weak draft class(lacking breakthrough stars at the top) but good for the Cavs and their fans by making the trade for Baron and acquiring the Number 1 pick. Also they will be picking #4. Gives them some flexibility. Twolves are the top losers(what else is new) and the Raptors will pick 5, that way they can get another soft European since they seem to be playing in the FIBA leagues. The Jazz will be selecting 3, Wizards 6.....Im saying that the late first round and 2nd round of this draft will be better than usual though

the draft lottery is one of the stupidest things in sports period. The team with the worst record should be rewarded with the 1st pick.

theyre trying to keep teams from tanking it. yeah. because thats worse than 20 years of basement dwelling basketball. great move nba fucking idiots. yay we dont have teams tanking it but we dont have teams improving either. any team making the playoffs shouldnt get a pick in the first round at all as bad as the nba draft is talentwise. its garbage and a big reason why the old nba was much better.

Yup. It's so hard to get good in the NBA cuz the deck is stacked against you. You can have the worst record and not get the first pick, you can't trade players for good draft picks cuz only the good teams will trade their picks and then you end up with pick 30. All you can do is trade dudes to contenders for turds with expiring contracts.

was speaking on the nba in general not just the draft. the old nba had stars on every team its just watered down nowadays you have a few "superteams" and thats it.

the draft is so weak nowadays these teams like the twolves and such will never get anywhere. ever. which is the same place theyve been forever. and then you throw in the fact that you can be the worst team in the league and only get the 5th pick? by the time the 5th pick comes around youre looking at a huge crapshoot on a player thats probably going to be a bench warmer at best. how many premier athletes enter the nba every year? very few. its not like the nfl where you can find instant starters outside of the first round, let alone the top 5.

Some of these mock drafts are stupid, they got the Spurs taking a PG when they should be taking a PF. Parker is only 29 and they already selected George Hill over DeAndre Jordan. The team needs a replacement for Duncan more than another PG. Because McDyess is not the answer.
