i'm skeptical with Moore. Anyone truly with the cause wouldnt be getting their films in movie theatres... unless, there's some sort of twist which I dont doubt. this dude just scrapes the surface with what's out there.

Raising awareness is never too late. Especially if it can do anything to stimulate/motivate transparency and financial reform.

Yes he is biased, but why can't we be both have socialist as well as capitalistic interests?

Moore is in the theatre's b/c there is a market for his product. Roger and Me was definitely not a big budget film.

It is similar to the dilema that the Paramount had when they decide to put out Warren Beatty's 'Reds' this is a film that 'promotes' communism (that came out during peak tensions of the cold war) however, b/c it was seen to be a money maker, despite it have a huge budget (quite the conundrum) they still decided to produce it.

Plus, who doesn't enjoy growing livid while watching how crooked these pigs are and what they get away with.

I always enjoy me some Micheal Moore, I'm not gonna lie or try to be counter-counter culture, he's a helluva documentariest imo, lol

True about the awareness part. But after rethinking what I typed, I think his goal is too influence the younger generations who aren't already set in a right/left ideology. To the liberals he's just preaching to the converted and to the conservatives they're not gonna change.

If someone is biased, then their not being objective, which you should be if you want to educate people.
If you want more sheep, then hey, biased propaganda is the way to go.

I don't enjoy getting upset, and I sure as fuck don't need to give Michael Moore $10 to get upset about the current state the world is in.

If you need to wait for Michael Moore to tell you the country is fucked then you probably weren't gonna make a real difference anyways. Not targeting you specifically but people in general.

I see his documentaries as more entertainment than anything else

The 'Michael Moore' moments that make it worthwhile are the points at which he exposes some shit you'd never see or makes it more easy/interesting, like the money bubbles over congresspeoples heads in sicko
