I got a DVD+RW/+R, and i got toast and final cut, I want to burn my final cut projects on a DVD+R to watch on a DVD player, anybody got the knowlegde?

uh damn i guess you have to burn it in VCD format (normal data cd's) cause most extern DVD players just support -R/-RW.....dunno.....what prog r u usin?

ay yo lynch u can update most DVD-Writer wit Firmware updates so that they can write both - and + .....what writer u got?

u have a few options

From within FINAL CUT PRO:

1. Export the video to MPEG-2
then
A. Set up the DVD with DVD STUDIO PRO and burn it
or
B. Export the movie to iMOVIE, then export it for DVD burn.
Now set up & burn the DVD with iDVD

2. Save it as a QUIKTIME MOVIE and open it in iDVD and burn.
It converts it for you.
