July is pretty weak sauce compared to the rest of the year. With Mayweazther vs Marquez being pushed to September there really aren't any big fights, but there are a few to look out for. The Friday Night Fights with some Cuban talent should be exciting and Top Rank's Latin Fury PPV is pretty decent as well with Gamboa and Julio Cesar Chavez jr. headlining and next saturday Agbeko vs. Vic Darchinyan should be banger while it lasts.

Why the fuck is Fernando Guerrero fighting Echols in a 6 rounder? That shit should be a 10 rounder or 8 at the minimum.
probably cuz echols hasn't won a fight since 2004, he's lost 4 in a row and he's coming off of 2 ko losses in a row and he's a guy that used to have an iron chin. IMO, he shouldn't be boxing. Sad since he was such a durable and tough opponent for so many years, but I worry for his health. The most recent Ring Magazine briefly touched on the subject the he shouldn't even have his boxing license.

Echols was one of my favorites years ago. The guy had an explosive left hook counter.

Ya, July is going to be a little quiet. If it weren't for Vic, the US wouldn't be getting any notice this month.

It seems like there is no money out there to make fights happen like a couple years ago.

Guerrero shouldn't be fighting anymore 6 rounders. Echols shouldn't be fighting but he also hasn't fought anything less than an 8 round fight in that same period of time if not longer. There's no reason from Guerrero to not be able to get some rounds in against Echols if he's gonna fight him anyway.
