Best Doomsday release?....

I got one of their albums, "Filthy," and its pretty cool.
But how are their first 2 releases, "XV", and "Pray 4 Me"??

I also got that "Blue Ragg - Tales from the Crip," and its pretty solid as well.

I think that Pray 4 Me album was pretty hard. Shit had some knock on it. I'd say maybe a borderline classic. Filthy was tight too, but no where near the level that Pray 4 Me was on. Just my opinion...haven't heard those other ones you mentioned.

Actually I think that "XV" album was released on Black Market. And I think Lynch had a guest spot on it too.

I keep seeing that "Pray 4 Me" album at a local record store. I might have to scoop it up if its like that.

to this day Pray 4 Me still gets mad rotation in my ride. they got that psycho shit for the first part of the cd, and that freaky shit for the second part. they got mad versatility.:classic:

xv is ok for 199x whatever year it was released, the only songs i really liked were the lynch and doc feature and the buckshot shells song

Pray 4 me is the best. thats shits got some tight songs on it. "shall we begin", "the siccness feat. Lynch", " Multiply", "Thats me", "thats you", "sweet dreams". Are all sick ass jams, but the song "pray for me" is probably my fav. doomsday song of all time real laid back and they just flow for 7 1/2 minutes with no chorus.

I have Filthy and I could never really get into it. It just seemed too gimmicky, which sounds stupid but thats how I feel. It had a few Coo tracks tho, Like Stomp Ya Head.
