What for? He won a lop sided decision to RJJ. That's not something to brush off. Who cares how he did it...
That's just the way it happened. It doesn't mean he would fight his next fight like that.

He's good for another 2 or 3 fights. People said the same thing about his retirement when he lost to JT, twice.

^^and calzaghe. It was an ugly fight just like the Jones fight and people said the same shit. Everyone thought Pavlik was going to knock him out.

I think hopkins just felt disrespected by Schaefer that is all, hopkins had a 3 fight plan and jones was fight #2 so hops just isn't ready to leave yet. If he can't get Haye maybe he'll fight Dawson or Bute.

what do you guys think about Hopkins vs Bute in Canada? That's what hopkins wants right now assuming Bute beats Miranda next week.

I know a lot of people want hopkins to fight Dawson but Dawson has a fight scheduled in August against Pascal, so that would mean hopkins would have to wait till the end of 2010 or early 2011 (when he's 46) to fight him. I think Bute is a solid fight, very dangerous as well.
