damn i'm hella twisted right now..... but anyways i was wonderin how ya'll got into makin beats??? did you play a musical intrument before you made beats? or did you just mess around until you got a beat you liked???

I used to play the guitar in a band when i was in high school. Then i hooked up with Mr. Pimp-Lotion that owned a PC and used to mess around with acapellas and make them beats and shit. I got inspired by his beatmaking and bought some equipment over the years.

I always wondered the same thing. I cant rap, but i know if I got a chance to make some beats i could come up with some knockers, i have a good ear for beats(in my opinion) I just wanna get some knowledge on the shit. What should I get to start out with(something cheap cuzz im on the broke side right now) That would be a dream come true to Produce some beats,Music is my thang!!
