Apple TV questions.

Alright so I recently got an apple tv because I heard jailbreaking it I would be able to get free PPV. I haven't jailbroken it yet cuz idk somebody who does that. But other than jailbreaking it and getting free PPV I know nothing else about it. Can somebody help me out and explain to me what it is used for and what it can do before jailbreak and after. And if you could refer me to a jailbreaking video that actually works I might go for it an try doing it myself.

Bury it in sand for a week, then dig it up and plug it in, if it doesnt have the free stuff on it, then rebury it for another week, repeat as needed

I dont have a jail broken appletv, but I know you can find them already done for $300 on ebay.

uh they only $99 and the jailbreak is super easy, also ppl on craigslist offer the jailbreak/xbmc hack for $40

you guys know you dont need a appletv to get the software.
